Enrolling in medicare would not cover Prescription drugs. There are 2 ways to get this coverage.
Medicare Prescription Drug (Part D) Plans
This is the standalone Medicare Prescription drug plan that can go along with your original medicare and/or when you purchase Medigap.
Medicare Advantage (Part C) Plans
Get your Prescription coverage via a Medicare Advantage (Part C) Plan which already has built in prescription drug coverage.
